KPUCC discusses problems

JAMMU, Feb 1: Kashmiri Pandit United Coordination Committee (KPUCC) Jagti in its meeting today held under the chairmanship of Bansi Lal Koul discussed various problems of the displaced people from Valley in general and Jagti inmates in particular.
As per a release, the meeting alleged that the delaying tactics in implementation of PM’s package is a cause of concern for the displaced Pandits and demanded that the same be implemented in letter and spirit.
The meeting said that the migrant youth have become over aged and their career is totally bleak in view of the callousness s of the authorities towards this hapless community.
The meeting also expressed concern over the delaying tactics of the authorities in maintaining the play ground at Jagti which is totally looking shabby.
The meeting demanded posting of doctors in Jagti Hospital and supply of quality medicines as well as other material in the dispensary there. It alleged that the hospital sans facilities and no syringes are available there.
The meeting also demanded immediate renovation of the quarters and urged the relief authorities to take adequate steps in this regard.
Kanya Lal Sidha, M K Tickoo, Sunil Handoo, T K Bhat, Sachin Handoo and others attended the meeting.
