KPs revive JKNDF

JAMMU, June 29: Kashmiri Pandits have decided to revive the political party floated by them in the year 2006 under the name Jammu Kashmir National Democratic Front (JKNDF).
The announcement in this regard was made by R K Matoo who will act as its chairman and national convener while P L Razdan will be its president of Northern region. Both Mattoo and Razdhan will be its patrons also.
Mattoo said that they have been under constant pressure from community members of reviving the political party which was formed in 2006 and late A K Dewani was its working president then.
The party contested Assembly elections on 17 constituencies of Kashmir Valley but failed to get any seat at that time.
Mattoo said the decision to revive the party was taken to fulfill the political aspirations of dedicated youth activists of the party and it will work for political empowerment of the community.
Based on the popular demand to give life to this maiden party of KPs-JKNDF, Mattoo and Razdan the two of the three signatories have decided to start the process of its revival and dedicate it our young and energetic party workers who will take it forward in a serious manner and become relevant.
