KPS Panchkula’s concern over land grabbing in Valley

JAMMU, June 3: Kashmiri Pandit Sabha (KPS) Panchkula (Haryana) in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of V K Vaishnavi its president expressed grave concern over the ongoing land grabbing and encroachments of temples and shrines land in Valley by some anti national elements.
The meeting, while expressing concern over the same also termed the rehabilitation move of the Government an eye wash as heritage of KPs is continuously being decimated and no body in the Government both at Centre and in the State is willing to take cognizance of threat posed to Pandits age old culture and religious properties in Valley.
The meeting expressed its grave resentment saying that the Government has not taken the issue seriously which is linked with the sentiments, religious values and culture of one of the ancient civilizations of the world. The meeting warned to come to streets in case Government failed to pass the Hindu Shrines and Religious Places Bill.
The meeting also made an appeal to Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and other Legislators in this regard.
Those who participated in the meeting included K N Koul, Maharaj K Jalali, V M Koul, A K Wangu, P N Bhat and Mr Labroo.
