KPC expresses solidarity with border people

JAMMU, Oct 10: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) in its meeting at Union Capital today has expressed its serious concern over the violation of ceasefire by Pakistan and attacking of civilian areas in Jammu region resulting into loss of many human lives and property.
The meeting, which was chaired by KPC chief, Kundan Kashmiri has expressed its total solidarity with border people who were forced to migrate from their homes and hearths leaving every thing behind.
He demanded that the ex-gratia for dead and injured be increased and five marlas of land be allotted to them at secure places.
The meeting however said the prompt and decisive action taken by Government led by Narendra Modi has provided a lease of relief to border people as Pakistan was made to understand that its misadventure will boomerang and it would have to pay a heavy price for the same.
The meeting also criticized the producers of Bollywood movie Haider in which the Indian forces have been painted in a poor form besides the film has failed to highlight the plight of Kashmiri Pandits the main sufferers of 25 year long terrorism.
It demanded a CBI probe into the death of Sunanda Pushkar wife of a former Union Minister.
