JAMMU, July 24: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has cautioned the displaced Pandits not to fall prey of those self styled leaders who are hobnobbing with Government or the separatists on token return of community to Valley.
Addressing a meeting of its activists in Union Capital today KPC president Kundan Kashmiri said that the ground situation was not conducive for the return of Pandits to Valley as instead of improvement in situation it has aggrevated further and the recent spurt in militancy violence is a testimony to the fact.
The meting said that carving out of Kashyap State with free flow of Indian Constitution was only solution for the return of displaced people to Valley.
The meeting demanded that the remaining 4500 posts under PM’s employment package for KP youth be filled up immediately and immediate steps be taken to redress the problems of displaced traders, over aged youth, orchardits and relief holders.
It also stressed on immediate passage of Temples and Shrines Bill and condemned the recent statements of the so called rights activists who held a pro-separatist demonstration in Union Capital.
It demanded action under law against those who are support the secessionist movement in Kashmir.
