KP organizations discuss targeted killings

NEW DELHI, May 15: AIKS here today held a meeting of all Kashmiri Pandit organizations of Delhi NCR to chalk out an action plan in response to the recurrent spate of targeted killings of KPs in Kashmir.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ramesh Raina and was attended by all prominent KP organisations of Delhi NCR.
Dr. Raina said, in response to the unfolding of recent events in Kashmir targeting KPs and PM package employees, AIKS and all KP organizations of Delhi NCR have assembled to protest and to seek justice by organizing demonstrations and protest rallies.
They expressed condolence to the bereaved family of Rahul Bhat and urged the Government to provide foolproof security for the safety and security of KP community members who stayed put in the Valley even in after 1990 exodus and also for the PM package employees who are spread in every corner of the Valley.
The meet strongly condemned Police action on peaceful march of KPs.
Speakers in the meeting said that time has come when the need to amend rules and regulations of PM package employment by removing the discriminatory clauses like signing of bond and non-transferability clauses from it.
The meet sought time from Home Minister of India to listen to grievances of KPs.
