JAMMU, Dec 5: Kashmiri Pandits delegation called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Ashok Pandita here and highlighted various problems of displaced people from Valley with him.
The delegation comprising BJP district vice president, Anantnag and councilor Mattan, Rakesh Kaul and Sampooran Kashmiri Sangthan (SKS) general secretary, Bharat Kachroo discussed in detail the problems of displaced Pandits with RRC which included complaints regarding portal and said that the positive response is not coming from Revenue authorities from Kashmir Valley to their complaints.
RRC informed the delegation that the people who are not satisfied with the report should again load their complaints and also contact him so that follow up can be made from his office. Koul also demanded that waiting arrangement be made at RC Office for public so that people who wanted to meet RRC can wait in waiting hall.
Bharat Kachroo urged the RRC that relief holders of Delhi NCR should be linked to relief authority of Jammu so that bifurcation, addition and deletion of names which is not being done in Delhi can take place easily. He demanded that Ayushman cards be issued to the migrants putting up at Delhi NCR also. RRC assured them that the issue will be taken up with the higher authorities for appropriate action. The other issues discussed included enhancement of relief, employment avenues for over aged youth and rehabilitation of KPs etc. Sushil Razdhan and Shuban Ji Rishi were the other members of the delegation.
