KISHTWAR, Dec 5: Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Kishtwar led by SHO Inspector Abid Hussain under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Kishtwar Satish Kumar laid a naka at Sangrambata area and apprehended a drug peddler along with 50 grams cannabis.
The arrested person was identified as Mansoor Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed Lone of Malwana Tehsil Gudna District Doda.
A case under FIR Number 267/2021 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
