Kishmish weakens on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, June 17: Kishmish prices declined by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by retailers and stockists amid muted demand from bulk consumers.

Adequate stocks on increased arrivals from producing areas also put pressure on the select dryfruit prices.

Kishmish Indian yellow and green prices were trading down by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 3,700-4,700 and Rs 4,900- 7,400 per 40 kg, respectively.

Marketmen said reduced offtake by stockists and subdued demand from bulk consumers against increased arrivals from producing areas mainly pulled down kishmish prices at the dryfruit market.
