JAMMU, Oct 3: RS Pura police arrested a kidnapper, who was evading his arrest for the past two years.
As per police sources, on reliable information, police team from RS Pura police station conducted raid in Roop Nagar area of Digiana and arrested a kidnapper, who was at large since 2013.
The accused has been identified as Om Parkash, son of Kharati Lal of Sidher, RS Pura, at present Roop Nagar, Digiana.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 69/13 under Section 366, 342, 452 and 323 RPC with RS Pura police station.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO RS Pura police station Inspector Bhushan Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, SP Headquarters Randheer Singh and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
