JAMMU, July 12: Bishnah Police rescued a kidnapped woman and arrested two abductors.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged regarding kidnapping of a woman with Police Station Bishnah on June 26 this year and accordingly, a case under FIR Number 108/2020 under Section 366 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah.
After hectic efforts the police tracked the location of kidnappers.
A team from Police Station Bishnah headed by PSI Rakesh Bandral rescued the kidnapped woman from Toyota Etios bearing registration number UP32HN-6534 at Lakhanpur check point and arrested the abductors, who were identified as Parshotam Kumar, son of Prem Chand of Village Sarore Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu and Rohit Kumar, son of Balak Ram of Tipri Majla (UP), at present Thandi Khui.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SHO Bishnah Inspector Tahir Yousaf Khan, SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan, SP Headquarters Adil Hamid and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
