JAMMU, July 12: To celebrate ‘World Population Day’ Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented a musical concert in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production on the theme ‘Family Welfare & Health Education’.
Songs presented in the concert were written and directed by M.L Dogra, former Assistant Director Song and Drama Division.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Anju Dogra, Registrar SMGS Hospital while J.K Raina, Freelance Producer Director; V.K Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity and Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former Chief Medical Officer were guests of honour.
The programme commenced with the like songs ‘Badti Aabadi Roko’, ‘Chota Parivar Sukhi Parivar’ etc.
Music of the concert was composed by Raju Bajgal.
Songs on Kisan Pakhwada and COVID-19 were also presented.
Earlier, welcoming the audience M.L Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS stressed on organic farming.
K.K Joshi, BLSKS Vice Chairman also spoke on the occasion.
On this occasion all the artistes and students took a pledged to eradicate social evils from the society.
Those who performed in the concert were Usha Handoo, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal, Rishab Khokar, Vikas Paudwal, Azeen Ali, Kuldeep Raj, Bindia Arora, Mukesh Arora and others.
