DODA, Apr 26: Police today recovered a kidnapped woman and arrested three accused from village Bhalra in tehsil Bhaderwah.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda Mohammad Sharief Chouhan told that on April 23, Davinder Singh, son of Shiv Kumar of Gallu Top, tehsil Thathri reported to police station Gandoh that his wife was kidnapped by three persons namely Romi, son of Shakti Kumar of Mathola, tehsil Bhaderwah, Shakti Kumar and Rakesh Kumar, both sons of Hem Raj of Nasika, Chinta, tehsil Bhaderwah.
Accordingly a case under FIR number 26/14 under Section 366 and 109 RPC was registered at police station Gandoh and manhunt was launched to recover the woman, Mr Chouhan informed.
On specific inputs, police conducted a raid at village Bhalra and arrested the accused and recovered the kidnapped woman, SSP added.
Further investigation is going in the case, SSP maintained.
