Kidnapped minor rescued, abductor arrested

JAMMU, Aug 1: Chinore Police rescued a kidnapped minor and arrested the abductor. As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Post Chinore on July 27 this year by a lady stating that her 16-year-old daughter went missing from home.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 204/2021 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation initiated.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Chinore led by ASI Shah Jahan was constituted under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Jammu Sanjay Sharma.
Acting on specific leads, the team rescued the kidnapped minor girl from Gangyal area of District Jammu and arrested the abductor, who was identified as Prem Saha, son of Chatangi of Bihar at present Sector 1, Dogra Nagar, District Jammu.
After completing all medico-legal formalities, the minor girl has been handed over to her legal heirs.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
