UDHAMPUR, June 28: Acting swiftly, Rehambal Police recovered a kidnapped minor girl within hours and arrested the accused.
Father of the victim had lodged a complaint at Police Station Rehambal this morning alleging that his 17 yrs old daughter was kidnapped by someone.
Acting on the complaint, Police registered case FIR number 148/2022, U/S 363 IPC and started investigation. After hectic efforts, SHO Rehambal, Insp Rajesh Sharma and his team, traced the victim girl and arrested the alleged kidnapper, identified as Shubam (24), son of Jia Lal of Seen Thakran, Udhampur.
After the medical examination, the girl was restored to her parents.
