Kidnapped girl rescued from New Delhi after two years

JAMMU, July 27: Khour police rescued a kidnapped girl from New Delhi after two years whileas the accused managed to escape.
As per police sources, family members of a girl hailing from Nai Basti Nariyana Khour lodged a compliant with police station Khour on August 27, 2013 that their daughter has been kidnapped by Ravi Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar of Nai Basti, Khour and taken to an unknown place.
Acting on the complaint, a case under FIR Number 57/2013 under Section 366 RPC was registered at police station Khour and manhunt was launched to trace the girl.
On specific information, police team from Khour police station conducted a raid in New Delhi and recovered the girl. The accused managed to escape from the spot.
The girl was brought to Jammu and after conducting medical examination, she was handed over to family members.
Police team led by SHO Khour police station SI Mohammad Iqbal Chagatta rescued the girl under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Naresh Singh and Incharge SSP Jammu Rajiv Pandey.
