Kichloo seeks votes for Azad

KISHTWARi Mar 30: Minister of State for Industries & Commerce, Home, R&B, H&UD, Tourism Sajjad  Ahmed Kichloo held a meeting of party workers here today to take stock of poll preparation ahead of April 17 voting.
While addressing the party workers,  Kichloo laid stress for galvanizing mass support in favour of Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad who is contesting candidate of NC-Congress from Doda-Udhampur-Kathua Parliament seat. He said that coalition Government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has implemented various public welfare schemes during his over five and half year of his tenure as Chief Minister of the State.
While highlighting the Azad’s goodwill gestures,  Kichloo said that Azad as a Chief Minister of the State granted district status to Kishtwar,  provided funds under NRHM for improvement of health infrastructure, besides funds for construction of building of District Hospital Kishtwar.  He said that Kishtwar district required a representative like Ghulam Nabi Azad to represent in Parliament.
He urged the Party workers to work hard and explore all the resources for ensuring the victory of Ghulam Nabi Azad in upcoming Parliament elections. He also laid stress for proper coordination between National Conference and Congress leadership for effective poll campaigning in favour of coalition candidates.
