JAMMU, Mar 30: Senior National Conference leader and former Minister Babu Rampal today asked the BJP and PDP to read writing on the wall and account for its anti-people role, especially in recent years.
Addressing workers meetings at Bhagwati Nagar and Vidhata Nagar in Bhathindi, he said the people have not forgotten the dubious role of BJP in polarising situation and trying to bring the State to a point of no return.
“But for the wisdom of the people the BJP and its cohorts had exploited the public sentiment to hilt with malicious designs”, he said while referring to the contributory role of PDP in furthering their hidden agenda.
Babu Rampal cautioned people against the negative forces, saying that in desperation they cannot give up their time tested ploys of dividing the people. He said the State has to steer as a single entity with all communities having equal opportunities of progress and development.
“This is what National Conference has been striving for”, he said and referred to steps taken for strengthening democracy at the grass roots level and addressing to the problems of youth.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Bimla Luthra, MLA, president Youth NC Surinder Singh Bunty and Sanjay Gupta highlighted the policies and programmes of National Conference and said that vote to the alliance candidate Madan Lal Sharma will be support to the policies and programmes being implemented for development and progress of the State under the leadership of Dr Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister  Omar Abdullah.
