Kichloo projects issues of Nagseni, Dool people

KISHTWAR, Aug 28: Senior National Conference leader and former Minister, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo conducted an extensive tour of Nagseni area of Kishtwar Constituency and listened to the grievances of the people.
Kichloo addressed several meetings where people from adjoining areas apprised him about various problems faced by them. Several locals told Mr Kichloo that during the National Conference Government, one of the most prominent demands was upgradation of High School into Higher Secondary and later this was sanctioned by the NC Government, but till date nothing has been done in this regard. Apart from this, Tehsil and Block was also sanctioned but now, they are not functioning and people face lot of hardships. They are also facing water and ration problem.
Kichloo said that, his party is to make sure regarding the commitment and promises made to people and is working on the agenda of good governance besides providing basic facilities to the people.. He assured them that their issues would be taken up for their redressal.
Later Kichloo also visited the Dool area where people have great resentment against the AFCONS authorities. The project was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but the fate of the work is not known. He assured to take up the issue with Governor.
He claimed that visionary and dynamic leadership of Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah has given the new dimension to the policy of National Conference to achieve the goal and political stability and prosperity in the region. He asked the party workers of the area to gear up their activities.
