Kichloo listens people’s grievances

KISHTWAR, July 21: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and Former Home Minister Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo conducted five days tour of Marwah area and listened to the grievances being faced by the people.
During the tour, a two days programme was held at Runayi Nallah, where he visited remote areas like Rassil, Ayaar, Sudar, Gudantarur, Zaben, Dund, Shishlan, Mathwan, Humdund and other areas.
During the course of the visit, people raised several demands and problems being faced by them including improvement of roads, ration, better drinking water and electricity supply. It was also informed by the local job card holders that they have not been paid their wages for the last couple of years for various developmental projects under MGNREGA. Apart from this, some locals apprised Kichloo that the construction of roads has been closed and due to the closure of roads they are facing lots of problems and demanded reconstruction of roads.
While talking to people, Kichloo said that, he is committed to provide better basic services to the people of far-flung areas with special focus on education and healthcare. He assured the people that their genuine demands would be brought into the notice of concerned authorities for early redressal.
District Vice President Gulam Rasool Magrey, Ex-Sarpanchs Gulam Ali and Abdul Razak, Zahoor Ahmad Zargar, Haji Mohammad Mukhtiyar and many others accompanied Kichloo.
