KHC for creating separate UT for exiled Pandits

JAMMU, Aug 19: Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) termed the scrapping of Article 370 and 35-A doubtlessly a herculean task and really beyond the competence of anyone except Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The KHC which held a meeting here today under the leadership of its president Advocate M L Thuso said Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah really deserve congratulations for this daring devil act. However the meeting said KHC is at the same time constrained to appreciate the bifurcation of the State in the present form without carving a Union Territory for Kashmiri Hindus who have always fallen prey to massacres, loots, forcible conversion, rapes and exoduses of survivors. The reason is not only of their being in minority but mainly of the mixed residence in scattered manner as is unfortunately proposed once again is in the present dispensation for which there are no takers except a few heavily paid agents.
The meeting which was also addressed by KHC convener P L Koul Badgami said will Modi give guarantee that in future India will never win a match nor shall anybody die in Pakistan because in both the eventualities the Kashmiri Hindus have been targeted by stoning their houses during nights and if the match is won against Pakistan the stoning would take place in broad daylight targeting even the human lives in addition with insulting and beating openly on road sides.
How nice and appreciable it would have been to trifurcate the State instead of bifurcating, by settlement of all the Kashmiri Hindus at one and only one place with carving out a chunk of land in the Valley, equal to their share according to the population of more than 10 lac now and divide the same in equal shares among them with full financial assistant for construction of the houses according to their own choice, purely for Kashmiri Hindus, to the exclusion of all others, in a walled city with Union Territory status administered by Kashmiri Hindus alone.
The meeting said that nothing short of that can be acceptable so far as the permanent settlement of the Kashmiri Hindus is concerned. The meeting said the Government should take step in this regard right now, because the iron is hot to strike at present and if not now, never possible for all times to come.
