SRINAGAR, July 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), senior leader, Muhammad Anwar Khan started membership drive for the party in district Baramulla today.
During the day long programme, 400 people mostly youth from the district joined the party.
Khan was accompanied by BJP State Spokesperson Altaf Thakur, Srinagar District President, Arif Raja, Srinagar district Vice President Asif Masoudi and senior party workers.
“PM Narendra Modi believes in Sab Ka Sath, Sab Ka Vikas and Sab Ka Vishvas, people must come and join hands for their welfare,” he said, adding that motive of the membership drive is to strengthen the party base, connect with general public and bring every section of the society into the party fold.
