Khajuria leads Indian exporters to Spain

JAMMU, May 24: Romesh Khajuria, Chairman Wool & Woolen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, led a delegation of Indian Exporters to Spain.
The Indian delegation is participating in the Barcelona Textile Expo in Barcelona, Spain.
Ankita Mittal, First Secretary, Embassy of India, Spain, inaugurated the event along with Prithika Rani M, Second Secretary, Embassy of India, Spain.
The event was jointly organized by WWEPC and PDEXCIL.
Romesh Khajuria while delivering welcome address said that more than 75 entrepreneurs, artisans and weavers from various parts of India are participating in the fair. While interacting with the international designers participating in the event, Khajuria stated that more than 70% of the Global trade is now based on the Global Value chain as raw materials and components cross borders-often numerous times.
He further added that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi while taking on board All Indian Foreign Missions abroad, industry, State/UT Governments and other stakeholders urged them to expand those exports from India.
Displaying the products from all the regions in different cities of India, Khajuria said that the festival aimed to promote export quality products, vocal for local, awareness and interaction on exports and various export related issues.
