Khajuria leads Indian delegation of WWEPC members to Italy

NEW DELHI, Dec 8: Son of soil Romesh Khajuria , Vice Chairman Wool & Woolen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, led a delegation of WWEPC Members to Milan, Italy to participate in Indian Pavilion.
Indian Ambassador to Italy, Dr. Neena Malhotra inaugurated the Indian Pavilion along with T Anjugla Jamir, Consulate General of India in Milan. They visited at ALF Artigiano Fair , Milan , Italy. The event was jointly organized by WWEPC and PDEXCIL. Romesh Khajuria, leading the delegation of member exporters of WWEPC to Milan , Italy delivered welcome address and said that more than 75 entrepreneurs, artisans and weavers from various parts of India are participating in the fair.
He further added that Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi while taking on board all Indian foreign missions in abroad, industry, state/UT Governments and other stakeholders set a target of USD 400 billion exports from India during current financial year 2021-22 and Vanijya Saptha under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahaotsav was celebrated from September 20 to 26 2021 while showcasing the quality products from all the regions in different cities of India aims to promote export quality products, vocal for local , awareness and interaction on exports and various export related issues.
About 1800 stands from 80 countries are in the fair. Khajuria said that WWEPC Chairman, Sanjeev Dhir took initiative for Indian participation in the fair in spite of restrictions of COVID 19.
Ambassador, Dr Neena Malhotra addressed the gathering and interacted with the participants which boost the morale of the exhibitors.
