JAMMU, July 29: Renowned Dogri and Hindi poet, Drama artist and Cultural activist, Kewal Kumar Kewal has been selected for ‘Sahitya Shree Samman’ by the Rashtriya Kavi Sangam, Jhunjhunoo (Rajasthan) for his outstanding contribution in the field of Hindi and Dogri Poetry.
Born in 1974 at village Barui of tehsil Akhnoor, district Jammu, Kewal Kumar got his early education in his village and later he did MA in Dogri from Jammu University and MA in Hindi from IGNOU.
He had participated and presented his poetry in numerous programmes of State as well as of National repute.
