JAMMU, July 22: A kerosene dealer was arrested today from Purkhoo area on city outskirts for black marketing.
According to a police official, on specific information from reliable sources, a police team from police station Kanachak today carried out a raid at a Kerosene Depot in Purkhoo area and arrested the dealer namely Mohan Singh son of Balwant Singh, resident of Purkhoo red handed while he was selling the kerosene oil illegally to a truck driver.
He said when the team reached the spot the kerosene from the depot was being filled in fuel tank of the truck bearing registration number JK02AG-0087. “A case FIR No 104/2019 under Section 3/7 was registered at police station Kanachak and all the 9 barrels of kerosene oil (containing about 1800 litres of oil) seized while further investigation in the case was started.
