JAMMU, Apr 20: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today slammed PDP leadership for ditching people and other political parties for satiating its vested political interests.
Speaking on the sidelines of a programme held here, today, the BJP leader said that PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has attained expertise in changing colours like Chameleons, because it has the worst record of deceiving political parties and alliances. He said that first, Mehbooba scuttled PAGD by ‘backstabbing’ the alliance and now she is repeating the history in case of India Bloc.
He said that no one knows whether Mehbooba’s PDP is still the part of PAGD or India Bloc, as its role in these political amalgams is quite unpredictable and mysterious.
Kavinder said that Mehbooba has turned so unpredictable that she can change stance in a moment to satiate vested interests without thinking for a while that her PDP has responsibility towards common man and its vested interests are not more important than the issues concerning the welfare of people. He declared PDP as a spent force, emphasizing that the party has substantially lost its political ground in the Union Territory.
He said that people by now have understood her ploys to deceive one and all for petty personal gains and that is the reason behind PDP getting no takers during the Lok Sabha polls.
