JAMMU, Mar 31: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kavinder Gupta, has called for enthusiastic participation from people in the party’s Foundation Day celebrations.
The celebrations beginning April 6th to April 14th will include various programs, including plantation drives, felicitation of meritorious students, awareness programs, felicitation of key voters, meeting and interacting with the beneficiaries of Central Government schemes, hoisting of flags at all levels including the Booth level, etc.
Additionally, salutations will be offered to all the Bharatiya Janata Party veteran leaders who contributed their lot by devoting their lives for the party’s future that made the long journey of the party a great success, beginning from merely two seats in the Parliament to over three hundred today.
In a statement, Kavinder Gupta said that the devotion and sacrifice of veterans have made the BJP the world’s largest political party.
He urged the party cadre and the people to participate in the fortnight celebrations, which will begin from April 6 to April 14, with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.
Gupta said that with the BJP and Central Government fully committed to the unprecedented development of Jammu and Kashmir witnessed today, there is every reason to make the celebrations unique this year in J&K.
Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta also held a Janata Darbar at Party headquarters and listened to issues of the general public. After giving them a patient hearing, he got some of the issues solved telephonically on-the-spot.
Regarding the rest of the issues, he assured them that these would be soon taken up with the concerned authorities on priority and solved at the earliest. Senior BJP leaders Priya Sethi and Munish Gupta accompanied the former Deputy Chief Minister.
