JAMMU, Jan 22: BJP Local Bodies Cell led by its State Convenor, Deepak Gupta held a State level meeting of its State office bearers in view of approaching Panchayat and then Urban Local Bodies elections in the State at party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Speaker State Assembly & MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion.
Kavinder Gupta, while addressing the meeting prompted all the office bearers of the Cell to work extra hours for addressing the issues of public ensuring the good performance of party in the coming elections. He stated that these elections are held on very ground level, where the personal performance and the working of the candidate is scrutinized by the public.
Although the Panch elections are not to be fought on the party basis but it still becomes the responsibility of the cadre of the party to project and support all the candidates wisely while keeping their personal integrity in mind and considering that their working is similar to the ideology of the party.
He also emphasized on the role of the Cell in ensuring the reach of party schemes, ideology and achievements to the public, well before the elections.
Deepak Gupta also prompted the Cell leaders to actively concentrate on the working of their respective units and make strategy that how they are going to project the achievements of the BJP into the common masses. He also assured the senior leaders that the Cell leaders will leave no stone unturned to work for ensuring the victory of party in coming elections.
Sudhir Jamwal, Molvi Tariq, Hakeem Masood, Abid Hussain, Rajesh Kohli, Rohit Mahajan, Malvinder Singh (Shanty), Anil Kaul, Surinder Mahajan, Rajkumar Sharma, Manzoor Kulgami and others were among the prominent members of Cell present in the meeting.
