KATHUA, July 7: Kathua police in its another achievement recovered 70 missing Mobile phones in the district.

While addressing the media persons here, today SSP, Kathua, Shailendra Misra said that police received numbers of complaints over missing of their valuable Mobile phones.
After the hard efforts of IT Cell of police, they succeeded in recovery of 70 mobile phones which were missing from various locations in Kathua district.
He said that earlier 52 more mobile phones were recovered by Kathua police and same were handed over to their original owners. He said that there is matter of misuse of such phones in anti national activities so far. He added that the value of 70 recovered mobile phone is Rs 6,20,000.
SSP said that Kathua police is wedded in service of people and earlier there was an impression that police takes the theft of mobile phones very easy and does not bother to recover them. To remove this misconception, the Kathua police acted on the missing reports and started search operations. “We succeeded in recovery of over 120 mobile phones during last few months and they were handed over to their owners”, he added.
