KATHUA, July 6: Kathua Police has arrested an absconder from Hatli More near here today who was evading arrest for last 17 years.
Police said one Kulwant Singh son of Amar Singh resident of Barwal tehsil and district Kathua, who was wanted by police in case FIR No.150/1994 U/S 6/15/16 Forest Act was today arrested from Hatli Morh area. He was absconding since 26.07.2000. The accused person was produced in the court of CJM Kathua and Court has sent him in Judicial lockup at district Jail Kathua.
