NEW DELHI, Jan 5: Chief of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) Bushan Bazaz while addressing delegation of Kashmiri migrants who are living in Jagti Camp, Jammu said that Kashmiri people should take a cue from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of Delhi and should join hands to put an end to the corrupt systems existing in Jammu and Kashmir.
The two decades long militancy has created so many groups of vested interests which do not want peace to prevail in Valley. ’’These groups fill their coffers with the money pumped by New Delhi and Islamabad in Kashmir. ’’
Bazaz said it was high time that people in the State should create a political party involving poor and upright citizens to oust the corrupt politicians and put an end to the hegemony of a particular family. ’’We must remember that people are the ultimate source of authority. If people of Kashmir would set up a party like AAP then there is no reason why they can’t oust greedy and corrupt politicians from power,’’ he said adding that people should not get sullied by bad politics and must join it to clean the system.
