JAMMU, Jan 5: A two-and-a-half-year-old child was crushed to death by an Army vehicle at Sunjwan Brigade camp.
As per reports, two and half year old Himanshu, son of Virender Singh, resident of Ferozabad, Uttar Pradesh presently residing in Sunjwan Camp was hit by an Army vehicle at Sunjwan Brigade camp.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities and driver of the Army vehicle identified as Harbeer Singh has been arrested.
A case under FIR number 4/14 has been registered at Bhatindi Police Post and investigation started.
