Kashmiri boy all set to make Bollywood debut

SRINAGAR, Aug 29: A local boy from South Kashmir district of Kulgam, Danish Bhat is all set to make his Bollywood debut in the “Dunno Y 2”, a Bollywood-Hollywood collaboration film that features a Pakistani actress and is being shot is Norway.
Hailing from Kulgam South Kashmir, Danish went to Mumbai in 2008 to become a model. One of his accomplices in Mumbai said that he worked hard and spent most of his time in gym and concentrated on modelling as career and gave best to it.
He got first break when he appeared in an advertisement of Nokia mobiles in which Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan performed lead role. He then appeared in the advertisements of Mahindra, Reliance, City Bank, Samsung and Siyaram Suiting . It is the Television show, Amrit Manthan, which led to his break in film Dunno Y 2. He was lead model at the Lakme Fashion Week last week in Mumbai.
“Kashmiri boys have talent but they have to work hard to achieve their goal in modelling. No doubt they are good looking but it is not the only criteria,” Danish said, adding he has lead role in the film Dunno Y 2 and Pakistani actress Meera is also in the film. The shooting will take place at Oslo in Norway.
The first part of the film Dunno Y won 9 international awards and is still getting screened at various prestigious film festivals worldwide.
Danish’s father is Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) in Forest Department.
