Srinagar, July 15: In a single day highest death toll of Coronavirus patients in Kashmir, 12 died today taking the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir past 200 while 311 tested positive including six doctors in the Valley
A 60-year-old man from Saida Kadal, Srinagar who was admitted to SKIMS hospital in Soura on 14 July died this morning. He tested positive after his death and was suffering from multiple ailments.
A 70-year-old man from Illahi Bagh area of Srinagar who was admitted to the SKIMS hospital on 5th July died last night. He was suffering from hypertension, bilateral pneumonia, shock and MODS. Click here to watch video
A 77-year-old man from New Colony, Pulwama who was admitted on 11th July at SKIMS died at last night. He was suffering from Community Acquired Pneumonia.
A 52-year-old man from Lal Bazar area of Srinagar who was admitted to SKIMS on 13th July died last night. He was suffering from bilateral pneumonia with ADRS.
A 60-year-old man from Buchpora area of Srinagar who was admitted on 8th July to SKIMS died this afternoon. He was suffering from bilateral pneumonia and other ailments.
A 60-year-old woman from Sopore area of Baramulla district who was admitted on 13th July in SKIMS hospital as a case of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) died this morning.
An 85-year-old man from Ladoora, Baramulla who was shifted from GMC Baramulla to SKIMS for ventilatory support died this morning. He was suffering from cardiovascular disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease and bilateral pneumonia.
A 60-year-old man from Hathlango, Sopore in Baramulla district who was admitted on 5th July to SKIMS died this morning. He was suffering from hypertension, hypothyroid, bilateral pneumonia and other ailments.
A 65-year-old male from Khrewan village of South Kashmir who was admitted on 4th July to GMC Anantnag died last night.
A 70-year old man from Rathsuna area of Budgam district tested positive for COVID-19 today after his death.
A 62 year old man from Baramulla who was admitted on 9th July to SMHS hospital Srinagar died today. He was suffering from bilateral pneumonia, diabetes and other ailments.
An 80-year old man from Sopore died in SMHS hospital Srinagar today. He was admitted last Thursday with common bile-duct stone. He tested positive for COVID-19 on July 14 and died tonight.
With 12 more deaths, the toll in J&K has reached to 207 including 189 from Kashmir division and 18 from Jammu division.
An official said that 882 samples were processed at Chest Diseases Hospital in Srinagar today and 155 tested positive. These included six doctors one each from Anantnag, Shopian and Kulgam and three from Srinagar.
At SKIMS 1944 samples were processed and 122 tested positive. They include 7 returnees, three pregnant women, three CRPF personnel from Kupwara and 19 police men from police headquarters. They include 38 from Pulwama, 30 from Srinagar, 12 from Bandipora, 7 from Anantnag, six from Kupwara, three each from Ganderbal and Baramulla, two in Budgam and one each in Kulgam and Doda.
At SKIMS Medical College Bemina 593 samples were processed and 34 test positive, all from Srinagar.
