JAMMU, July 18: KAS aspirants today appealed the State Government and Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission to enhance upper age limit for appearing in the State Combined Services Examination.
The demand was raised during a meeting of the KAS aspirants, held here today at Jammu University. The participants justified their demand and explained that while raising the upper age limit for Government services in 2014, when the retirement age was enhanced from 58 to 60 years, the Government did not increase the age limit for State Combined Services Examination.
The participants unanimously resolved to meet again over the issue on July 20 at 3 p.m at Jammu university Fountain Point and decide further course of action to get their demand conceded.
The meeting was attended by Noor Malik, Murtaza Wani, Meenakshi Sharma, Kameshwar, Vikas Sharma, O P Bhagat, Rakesh Gupta, Sarbjeet and others.
