Karlupia starts deep drain work in Gujral Mohalla

JAMMU, Aug 2: Senior BJP leader and Councilor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Satpaul Karlupia here today started construction work of deep drain in Gujral Mohalla of Talab Tillo in Ward number 32.
Speaking on the occasion, Karlupia said that the work of deep drain construction was a long pending demand of the locals which shall be now fulfilled on completion of the work started today.
He also said that the work will be completed at an expenditure of Rs.17 lakh.
The BJP leader said that he is committed to make his Ward a model one by providing all the amenities and sought cooperation from the residents of the Ward in this regard.
He directed the concerned engineers as well as the contractor to complete the work started today by applying best construction materials and complete it within the stipulated time.
Karlupia asked the people of his Ward to stop throwing garbage here and there and use the services of door-to-door moving autos in the morning in this regard.
Gurcharan Singh, Lovekesh Gondi, J&K BJP Executive Member of IT Deptt, Satish Salaria, Rahul Mehra, Bawa Ram, Madan and others were also present on the occasion.
