Kapal Mochan yatra to leave on August 2

JAMMU, July 31: The annual festival of Sawan Bah at Kapal Mochan shrine Dev Gam, Nagbal Shopian in Kashmir Valley will be performed with full religious fervor and gaiety on August 4.
The festival of Sawan Bah will be preceded by annual Hawan on August 2 and Puranahuti will be performed next day in the afternoon.
Hundreds of devotees from Jammu are also participating in the annual festival. This was stated by V S Lahori president of the Kapal Mochan Trust.
He said the yatra from Jammu will leave for holy shrine on August 2 morning from JDA Complex Muthi and the Government has made arrangements of transport for yatris.
The Trust has appealed the people to participate in the yatra and pay obeisance to Mahadev at Kapal Mochan and seek his blessings.
The Trust has also made elaborate arrangements for the yatris visiting the holy shrine.
