THRISSUR, Sept 7: Former President A P J Abdul Kalam today stressed the need for cultivating discipline among the youth.
“Only with discipline, we can protect our democratic freedom and attain economic development,” Kalam said at an interactive-session with Student Police Cadets, organised under the auspices of SPC project here.
He said for any achievement in life, it was essential to have four qualities such as great aim, continual acquisition of knowledge, hard work and perseverance and without these qualities, no achievement could be possible.
He said it was essential to make one’s home and mother happy and strive for a clean and green environment.
“When you make your home happy, there would be order and peace at your home and in the society as also in the country and the world alike,” Kalam said.
