JAMMU, May 28: Kajaria Ceramics, India’s No.1 and world’s 9th largest manufacturer of ceramic and vitrified tiles, conclude its masons meet here today.
With the aim of enhancing the employability of masons and promoting new skills in them, the company organised awareness sessions on company’s new products and the appropriate use of them.
A day long program was attended by 50 trainees and dealers. The training sessions include theoretical knowledge as well as practical applications. During the program, installation process of the vitrified slabs (laying and cutting processes) was also demonstrated using best-in-class industry equipment.
On the completion of masons meet, Tarun Gupta, Manager Technical Department, Kajaria Ceramics, said, “In modern times, everyone seeks smart, elegant and sophisticated interiors. Be it a residential building, office complex, or service oriented structure, classy interiors always evoke positivity. Our aim is to educate and train masons about these aspects of the business and how to use our best-in-class products appropriately to give consumer that experience.
“A good dealer showroom with skilled work force also reduces the opposition from unorganized sector. We are committed and actively participating in skill enhancement efforts for the masons to address the need for skilled work force in the ceramic industry”, he added.
Kajaria is proud to add more than 200 dealers last year, making it a strong distribution network of over 1500 dealers, who will help in generating sales volumes and providing feedback on consumer’s needs and desires, Gupta said, adding that Kajaria Ceramics will hold similar mason meets in several other parts of the region.
