Kabul Gurudwara massacre widely condemned

JAMMU, Mar 25: There has been wide spread condemnation of Kabul Gurudwara massacre.
“The selective massacre of Hindu-Sikh community in the main Gurudwara in Kabul, Afghanistan is a heinous crime against humanity”, said Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, senior BJP & Kashmiri Pandit leader. He said “At a time when the whole world including Afghanistan is engaged in a united fight against the Chinese virus Covid-19, this act of terrorism is not only shameful and heinous but also barbaric”.
Once again, the terror regime active in the Syria-Iraq-Afghanistan triangle target the hapless minorities to enforce ethnic cleansing in Afghanistan. Lakhs of refugees from Afghanistan took shelter in Europe, India and US post 1989-90 developments in Afghanistan, he said.
Former Minister and senior leader of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, Manjit Singh has also condemned the terrorist attack in Gurudwara at Kabul. He termed the attack one of the heinous crimes against the humanity. He said that while the whole world is facing deadly diseases covid-19 and ensure to save maximum lives by adopting various measures and on the other hand people with sick mentality murdered 25 Sikhs this morning.
He demanded that Afghan Government must ensure the safety of minorities and their places of worship also.
Chairman National Sikh Front and senior BJPleader, Varinder Jeet Singh has also strongly condemned the massacre of innocent Sikhs in Kabul Gurdwara by Islamic terrorists.
“We condemn the barbaric attack on Gurudwara Sahib in Kabul, Afghanistan. Children and women have been killed in the attack. This is a cowardly attempt of terrorists. Sikh community wants to protest but due to Corona pandemic we cannot do that. We appeal to PM Modi to help those in need in Afghanistan as minorities are not safe”.
PoJK Sikh Intellectuals Forum, chairman Advocate Amrik Singh and general secretary, Paramjeet Singh have also expressed their shock and grief over the attack and killing of innocent members of Sikh community in the Gurdwara Sahib at Kabul.
They demanded that world as a whole should take drastic action against terror and terrorists who are enemies of humanity. They said that the attack is an eye opener for those who oppose CAA and urged the Prime Minister to take up the issue with United Nations to ensure the security of Sikhs and other minorities living in Afghanistan.
KPC president Kundan Kashmiri and AIMCCC, president, Desh Rattan have also strongly condemned the attack and termed it a crime against humanity.
BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi has also strongly condemned the attack on minority Sikhs in Kabul and expressed his deepest sympathy on behalf of the people of India with the members of the community in Afghanistan. He demanded immediate security for all minorities living there.
Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) has also strongly condemned the attack and has called for international attention towards this brutal act.
Shuja Zaffar chairman of the Front in the press note has appealed the International Community and Human Rights Organizations to join hands to finish the terror regime wherever it exists in the world.
United Sikh Forum and Sikh Nowjawan sabha Nanak Nagar Jammu Strongly condemned the barbaric terror attack inside Sikh holy Gurudwara Sahib in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Mehar Singh, President Sikh Nowjawan Sabha , Nanak Nagar and Leader of AAP, said “We want peaceful coexistence. Our community believes in duty and work wherever it lives. We Strongly protest the happenings in Afghanistan and urge PM Narendra Modi to make sincere efforts so that the Sikh community is not harassed in Afghanistan. We demand full protection of sikhs in whole Afghanistan,” he added.
