JAMMU, Mar 25: Former general secretary Association of Industries, Gangyal, K K Khosa has demanded that cash assistance to daily wage earners in the unorganized sector, hawkers, casual workers, pensioners of different categories must be provided immediately by the Government as they have lost their earning due to lock down.
In a statement issued here, today he demanded ration supply to industrial laborer residing in factories.
He said the telephone line be dedicated for different services other than ambulance services. He said distribution of LPG is a big problem in view of skeletal home delivery system in vogue before lockdown. The people are also facing problems for cash withdrawal from banks and ATMs due to restricted movement and the same issue be sorted out so that people are not put top hardships. He said all steps be taken so that the downtrodden sections of society are not put to problems.
Khosa however asked the people to cooperate with the authorities for their own safety.
