KISHTWAR, Mar 25: In order to avoid any public gatherings and to prevent individual to individual contacts at LPG refill points, grocery shops and medical stores, District Magistrate Kishtwar, Rajinder Singh Tara today notified the list of shopkeepers along with their contact numbers for providing home delivery of essential commodities in wake of 21 days nationwide lock down announced by PM for preventing the further spread on COVID-19.
The district administration has notified 96 shops, 05 gas agencies and other establishments along with their contact numbers for the convenience of the general public.
Besides, it has been strictly advised to the shopkeepers to avoid any kind of gathering during the process of delivery of commodities within or outside of their houses as the same could malign the mechanism under which home delivery has been arranged, DM said.
Further, in order to ensure the smooth delivery of essentials including medicines and LPG cylinders to the general public as per the requirement and to avoid any type of overcharging, hoarding and panic borrowings, DM has appointed AD FCS&CA Kishtwar (9797687888), Assistant Legal Metrology officer Kishtwar (9419157178) and designated Officer Food and Safety Kishtwar (9858555205) as Nodal officers to look after this mechanism.
