K Subramaniam takes over as Accountant General J&K

JAMMU, June 1:  K Subramaniam   has taken over as Accountant General, Jammu and Kashmir.
On taking over the new assignment, he said that his priority would be to improve the readability, usability and accessibility of the State Government’s Financial Statements and Accounts so that the citizens are able to know how public money is being spent for their purpose.
He also said that his priority would be to speed up the settlement of pension cases so that retired employees get pension without any delay or inconvenience.
K Subramaniam, before taking over as Accountant General Jammu and Kashmir, had served as Officer on Special Duty with the Central Vigilance Commission, New Delhi.
