JAMMU, Mar 22: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) staged dharna in the middle of the road and disrupted traffic to show resentment at New Plots here to send a clear message to the Central and State Governments that the settlement of the Rohengyas and Bangladeshies would not be tolerated any more.
JWAM president Sunil Dimple threatened to call for the Jammu Band against the settlement of the Rohangiyas and Bangladeshies in Jammu. The activists also raised anti-Pakistan slogans to oppose the Indo-Pak talks.
Dimple alleged that the Ministry of Home Affairs had announced to send a Central team to the Jammu to assess the situation arisen after the settlement of Rohangiyas and Bangladeshi foreigners in the Jammu region, but till date nothing has happened.
He alleged that State as well as the Central Governments are pushing the Jammu region and all the organizations once again on the path of agitation.
