JWAM holds protest with empty buckets

JAMMU, Aug 13:  The activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) led by its president Sunil Dimple held a protest rally along with large number of prominent citizens with empty buckets, today.
The activists disrupted traffic for one hour against the coalition Government  for the acute scarcity of the drinking water in Jammu city, putting the “Chenab drinking water project” in cold storage and demanded free of cost drinking water for the people of the State.
Addressing the protestants, Sunil Dimple alleged that the Government has backstabbed the people. He appealed the people not to deposit the water tariff this year to the Government and demanded for the free drinking water.
