JAMMU, Oct 29: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has demanded construction of ring road and start of work on metro rail project from Amphalla-Manda to Akhnoor via Janipur High Court.
In a meeting here today JWAM leader Sunil Dimple further demanded construction of flyovers at Rehari Chungi and Jewal Chowk.
He also expressed concern over the traffic problem in Jammu and appealed to the Government that public should not be harassed on pretext of MV Act.
JWAM leader claimed that the Government has no traffic mobility plan for Jammu city and accident graph is rising everyday in the region.
He alleged that J&K BJP leaders are paper tigers shedding crocodile tears on Sarore Toll Plaza.
Chaman Pawar, Manjit Anand, Sachin Soi, Rajesh, Chuni Lal Bhat, Arjun Kumar, Ajay Kumar and others were also present in the meeting.
