JAMMU, Dec 5: Stating that schools, panchayat ghars and other Government buildings are being burnt in Kashmir and terrorists are rocking Jammu with one after another attack, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has demanded Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to resign on moral grounds.
Addressing a press conference, Sunil Dimple, JWAM president, said there seems no end to the attacks on the ministers’ houses and burning of official buildings in Valley. He said it is total failure of PDP-BJP coalition Government, which failed to tackle separatists in Kashmir and stop infiltration of terrorists from border with Pakistan.
“Moreover, the Government has also progressed on development front, but no development has taken place in the winter capital Jammu city and particularly in the west assembly constituency in last two years”, the JWAM leader said.
Dimple demanded the President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Governor NN Vohra to dissolve the State assembly and impose Governor’s rule in the State.
