JAMMU, Mar 15: Activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) led by its president Sunil Dimple held protest dharna against the illegal settlements of foreigners including Bangladeshis in the localities around Jammu city.
Raising slogans in support of their demands the JWAM activists demanded ouster of Myanmar and Bangladeshis whose Basties have come up in areas around Jammu city and their credentials were also not known, may pose a security threat in the times to come.
While addressing Sunil Dimple apprehended that anti-national elements may have accumulated arms and ammunition in some localities and demanded a combing operation in this behalf. Dimple also threatened to issue a call for Jammu Bandh in association with other like-minded organizations in case the Government failed to take strict action against Rohangiyas and Bangladeshis.
Prominent among those who participated in the protest demonstration included Sham Saroop, Harbans Tandon, Ram Kapoor, Vijay Khajuria, DR O N Pandita, Dev Raj, Vipin Kumar, Mukesh Vicky, Ram Kumar Dass, Mukesh, Babbu, Bharat, Ashok Khanna, Rakesh Sharma, Aslam Khan, Akram Khan, Karan Singh etc.
