JAMMU, Apr 30: To express resentment, the activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) burnt the effigies in protest against the betrayal of Jammu region by BJP-PDP Government, today.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple, president JWAM said that inspite of the repeated requests and pleas for complete black-topping of Jammu roads including West constituency to concerned ministries as well as Chief Engineers of PWD R&B, JMC, ERA, have not yielded any result.
Dimple gave ultimatum to PWD R&B, ERA, PHE, JMC ministries to complete full black topping work immediately otherwise the agitation will be intensified and the Government will be responsible for it.
Other present on the occasion were Dr Sham Saroop, Vinod Suri, Harbans Tondon, Ravinder Mishra, Kulwant Sharma, Dass Ram, Dev Raj, Vipan, Mukesh, Ramesh Mahjan, Sachin Soi, P C kapoor, Ajay Kumar Mehta, Rahul Puri, Dr Chuni Lal Bhat, Sanjev Soi, Pappu Kumar, Kulwant Sharma, Shiv Kumar, Satish Abroal, Jagdish Magotra, Sham Luthra, Jagdish Kumar, Rajinder Sharma and Kuldep Sharma.
